Project | How the West Was Remixed: The New Frontier

For this project, I created a website analyzing how the Red Dead series remixes the tropes in the Western film genre to create a new immersive Western experience that both draws from and contributes to a network of the Western mythos. Though this project is rooted in academic analysis, I aimed it toward a general audience to most effectively advocate for the possibility of video games as a maturing artistic medium.
